Dental Health Project – Smiles for the Future
In response to the critical gap in dental care among children in underserved communities, we launched the Dental Health Campaign starting in Banda Slum.
This ongoing project offers free dental checkups, treatment, hygiene education, and dental kits. In the first phase, we reached over 400 children, many of whom had never seen a dentist before. Our approach combines treatment with empowerment—ensuring each child learns to maintain good oral hygiene.
Impact:
Over 400 children reached in the first phase, with plans to reach 2,000 children by next year.

Harvesting Hope – Karamoja Farming Initiative
Our flagship sustainable agriculture program developed in response to persistent food insecurity and drought conditions in the Karamoja region.
Over 60 households were trained in modern farming techniques, including soil conservation, mulching, crop rotation, and water harvesting. We've established a model demonstration farm and introduced kitchen gardens for women-headed families.
Impact:
Trained over 60 households in modern farming techniques, with plans to reach 500 households next season.

Asili Relief Fund – Compassion in Crisis
Our rapid-response initiative providing immediate support to families and children affected by sudden crises and disasters.
Whether fire outbreaks, flooding, or family tragedies, the Relief Fund mobilizes resources swiftly to deliver emergency relief, comfort, and recovery support. In 2024, we responded to a devastating fire in Banda Slum, supporting over 120 affected individuals including 74 children.
Impact:
Recently supported fire victims in Kampala slums with food and shelter items for 120+ individuals.

Asili Scholarship Fund – Education is a Right
Providing full and partial scholarships to bright and determined children who would otherwise be forced to drop out due to poverty.
The fund covers tuition, school supplies, lunch, transportation, and in some cases, boarding and counseling services. We monitor academic performance and provide mentorship, life skills coaching, and career guidance.
Impact:
Currently supporting 30+ students with full/partial scholarships. Eight students completed secondary school in 2024.

Asili Orphanage – A Place to Belong
A safe, nurturing home where vulnerable children find stability, dignity, and the foundation to rebuild their lives with hope.
Currently housing 18 children, our holistic approach includes education support, emotional and psychological support, moral development, life skills training, and health care. We emphasize reintegration and family tracing where possible.
Impact:
Now home to 18 children receiving holistic care with plans to expand and build an early childhood learning center.

Mindset & Youth Empowerment – New Ways, New Dreams
Our flagship program designed to challenge limiting beliefs and empower youth to envision and work toward a better future.
Through interactive workshops, creative expression, mentorship circles, and leadership training, we help youth confront barriers and adopt new mental models built around self-worth, goal setting, and leadership.
Impact:
600+ youth engaged across Uganda, with many becoming student leaders, community volunteers, and entrepreneurs.
